Spelt products

Our range of spelt products includes spelt fl our and wholemeal spelt flour, spelt flakes, cracked spelt flour and pregelatinised spelt flour. Spelt is an ancient form of wheat. Each spelt grain is covered by a husk and therefore is better protected against negative environmental impacts. A complex and time-consuming processing method is required for spelt to remove these husks.

Soy products

Our soy products include soy flour and soy semolina and cracked soy flour. A GMO analysis is carried out every time raw materials are delivered. The soy beans are cleaned, roasted and shelled.

Roasted flour

Raw materials like rye, wheat and rye malt are processed to produce a range of diverse granulated roasted flours.

Pregelatinised flour

Pregelatinised flour, produced from one or two raw materials, contain hydrothermally treated flour, mainly rye, wheat and spelt flour. Other cereals can also be used. During this process we purify and extrude the raw materials.

Cereal flakes

We process primarily wheat, spelt, rye, as well as different kinds of corn, to make cereal flakes. Other grains can also be used. The grains are carefully purified, stream-treated and then flaked on a roller mill. Our flakes are especially suitable for the production and processing of muesli, breakfast cereals, baking products and for sprinkling on breads and baked goods.

Malt products

The cereals are softened during the malting process and the germination process is initiated. This creates enzymes that break the endosperms down into sugars. The malt is then dried in a kiln to enable dry storage. We process different types of malt to make flour, flakes and cracked flour or use the malt to process and produce other specialised products like roasted flour und pregelatinised flour.

Ground products

Our ground products are made from purified grains that are processed into high-quality cracked flour, flour, wholemeal flour, wholemeal semolina and semolina.

Poppy seed products

The poppy seeds are steamed and cracked using a hydrothermal procedure. This creates excellent flavour and a longer shelf-life. This specialised procedure means the poppy seeds are ready for further processing by our clients.

Drawing on the experience and expertise of many years, and making use of our broad range of diverse products, we work with our customers to develop new products. Thanks to our state-of-the-art equipment, we meet the requirements of our clients, while adhering to strict quality and hygiene regulations.

Organic Products

Arnreiter Mühle also produces a wide range of organic products. These are certified by “Austria Bio Garantie GmbH”. Our organic products meet the requirements of the (EC) No. 889/2008 Regulation as well as those of the Austrian Food Code, Chapter A8.
